Processing methods

Data processing is based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and data minimisation. It shall be carried out both manually and by automated means for storing, processing and transmitting the data and shall be performed using technical and organisational measures that are appropriate, insofar as reasonably necessary and in accordance with the state of the art, to ensure, inter alia, the security, confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of the systems and services, avoiding the risk of loss, destruction, unauthorised access or disclosure or otherwise unlawful use, as well as reasonable measures to delete or rectify in a timely manner any data that are inaccurate in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.

Rights of the data subject

Data subjects are granted the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, where applicable. In particular, data subjects may ask data controller for access to data, their deletion, the rectification of inaccurate data, the integration of incomplete data, as well as the restriction of processing.

Data subjects also have the right, where the conditions for exercising the right to portability set out in Article 20 of the GDPR are present, to receive in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format the data provided to data controllers and, if technically feasible, to transmit it to another data controller without hindrance.

These rights may be exercised by writing to the following e-mail address: it.privacy@gigroupholding.com.

Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in particular in the Member State in which they usually reside or work or in the State where the alleged breach occurred).
