Este problema \u00e9 particularmente grave nas \u00e1reas tecnol\u00f3gicas, conhecidas pelo acr\u00f3nimo STEM (Ci\u00eancias, Tecnologias, Engenharia e Matem\u00e1tica), onde a desigualdade de g\u00e9nero \u00e9 ainda mais not\u00f3ria.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Num mundo onde a tecnologia molda o futuro do trabalho, a igualdade de g\u00e9nero n\u00e3o pode ser uma quest\u00e3o secund\u00e1ria. \u00c9 imperativo criar condi\u00e7\u00f5es para que as mulheres possam tamb\u00e9m liderar e dar o seu importante contributo ao mercado de trabalho. Um problema assente num modelo conservador de partilha das responsabilidades familiares.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">De acordo com o <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/document\/965ed6c9-3983-4299-8581-046bf0735702_en\"><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">2024 Report on Gender Equality in the EU<\/span><\/i><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, em 2022, a taxa de emprego das mulheres com filhos era de 73,7%, na Uni\u00e3o Europeia, ao passo que a dos homens com filhos se situava nos 91%. Ora, tal como refere Claudia Goldin, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2023\/10\/10\/nobel-prize-winner-claudia-goldin-the-gender-pay-gap-will-never-close-unless-this-happens.html\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">pr\u00e9mio Nobel da Economia de 2023<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, \u201cnunca teremos igualdade de g\u00e9nero at\u00e9 haver igualdade entre casais\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Associada a essa desigualdade est\u00e1, ainda, a disparidade salarial. Por exemplo, um estudo recente da CIG-Comiss\u00e3o para a Cidadania e Igualdade de G\u00e9nero revelou que, em 2021, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cig.gov.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/BE2023trabalho.pdf\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">mulheres ganhavam, em m\u00e9dia, menos 13,1%<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> no que respeita \u00e0 remunera\u00e7\u00e3o base em Portugal. Esta disparidade sobe para 15,9% quando falamos em ganhos totais, incluindo subs\u00eddios, pr\u00e9mios e outros benef\u00edcios.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Al\u00e9m destes desafios, poder\u00edamos mencionar muitos outros, como o ass\u00e9dio no local de trabalho ou a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ffms.pt\/pt-pt\/atualmentes\/mulheres-sao-nomeadas-para-administracoes-mas-sobretudo-para-cargos-sem-decisao\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">sub-representatividade das mulheres em cargos de lideran\u00e7a<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Contudo, o foco da nossa an\u00e1lise est\u00e1 na chamada segrega\u00e7\u00e3o ocupacional \u2014 conceito que espelha a ideia de que a presen\u00e7a das <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">mulheres no mercado de trabalho<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> \u00e9, lamentavelmente, determinada por estere\u00f3tipos.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e727ed4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"e727ed4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">As mulheres nas STEM<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b0997e2 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b0997e2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">De facto, no quadro das carreiras profissionais na \u00e1rea das tecnologias, os estere\u00f3tipos de g\u00e9nero t\u00eam um forte impacto na desigualdade entre mulheres e homens. Ali\u00e1s, esta tend\u00eancia denota-se, desde logo, no \u00e2mbito universit\u00e1rio.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ainda que as mulheres superem os homens no ensino universit\u00e1rio, quando analisamos as estat\u00edsticas, a propor\u00e7\u00e3o de mulheres em disciplinas STEM, que \u201ct\u00eam melhores sal\u00e1rios e perspetivas de carreira, \u00e9 persistentemente inferior \u00e0 propor\u00e7\u00e3o de homens\u201d. As conclus\u00f5es s\u00e3o do 2024 Report on Gender Equality in the EU. Por conseguinte, nos \u00faltimos dez anos, as mulheres apenas representaram 20% dos licenciados na \u00e1rea das tecnologias da informa\u00e7\u00e3o e comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, na Uni\u00e3o Europeia.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Erradamente, estas \u00e1reas s\u00e3o tradicionalmente percecionadas como masculinas. J\u00e1 profiss\u00f5es em setores como a educa\u00e7\u00e3o ou a presta\u00e7\u00e3o de cuidados s\u00e3o vistas como \u201ctrabalho feminino\u201d. Estes estere\u00f3tipos contribuem, portanto, para a cimenta\u00e7\u00e3o de uma cultura de desigualdade, que afasta as mulheres das profiss\u00f5es STEM, tipicamente mais compensat\u00f3rias do ponto de vista remunerat\u00f3rio.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Al\u00e9m disso, devemos enfatizar que, em Portugal, 38,8% das empresas dizem ter di<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/eco.sapo.pt\/2024\/03\/13\/4-em-cada-10-tecnologicas-tem-dificuldade-em-recrutar-profissionais-qualificados\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">dificuldade em encontrar profissionais<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> com compet\u00eancias digitais avan\u00e7adas, segundo o nosso <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gigroupholding.com\/portugal\/insights\/it-tendendias-2024\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Relat\u00f3rio sobre as Tend\u00eancias Globais de RH 2024<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, direcionado para o trabalho em Tecnologias da Informa\u00e7\u00e3o.
