GLOBAL IT JUNIOR APPLICATION ENGINEER – Italy Based

In this role, being part of the Global IT Team, you will get to make a positive difference to people’s lives by analysing and preventing application problems, while addressing solutions and workarounds.

As Global Junior Application Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Support the definition of priorities and assist with the higher-level support calls, ensuring the best quality of services is delivered.
• Handle a work of analysis, revision, and reporting of the main problems and proposing solutions.
• Facilitate the information flow to better communicate problems and any application releases.
• Collect technical needs and sharing them internally with the teams responsible.
• Ensure the proper operation of applications and support the implementation of any additional controls.
• Assist the coordination of all external provider and share internally the solutions with the teams responsible.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or analogue.
• At least 1/2 years of experience in the role, preferably at multinational companies.
• Good English, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, Enterprise Service Bus, Open data, Microservices, Event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, PHP, Python, .NET) will be considered a plus.
• Ability to apply multiple solutions to the business problems.
• Good soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
